On December 6 and 7, 2017, in New York City, the International Council of Shopping Centers will hold its New York Deal Making event. Some 10,000 participants are expected to fill the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. In addition to providing numerous networking opportunities and access to over 500 exhibitors, the Council is organizing several hour-long professional workshops.

Topics to be covered include the place of women in commercial real estate, co-tenancy arrangements, and the use of technology to enhance returns per square foot. Factors influencing business-to-business and business-to-consumer usage of shopping centers will also be discussed. Other presentations will deal with mixed-use projects and will present a broker’s view of the situation of retailers.
